Hi there,
This Mental Health Week, we’re inviting Canadians to come together for a national conversation:
Connection Changes Everything
At a time when so many people are feeling disconnected — from each other, from community, and sometimes from themselves — we’re creating space for a different kind of conversation. One that’s grounded, honest, and focused on what actually helps.
This one-hour virtual event will bring together expert voices from across the country to explore the role connection plays in our mental health — and what it looks like, in real terms, to build stronger, more supportive communities.
It’s simple. It’s practical. And it feels especially timely.
Featuring:
Rebecca Shields, President and Chief Executive Officer of Kids Help Phone
Hon. Bernadette Smith, Minister of Housing, Addictions and Homelessness (Manitoba)
Pete Bombaci, Founder & CEO, GenWell
Moderated by our very own Marion Cooper, President and Lead Executive Officer, Canadian Mental Health Association, National.

Save Your Spot
Whether you join on your own, with your team, or as part of your community, we’d love to have you there.
Because mental health doesn’t happen in isolation — it’s something we create together.
Warmly,
Sarah Kennell Vice-President, Policy, Partnerships & Advancement Canadian Mental Health Association
